How long will it take to sell my home?
As a Realtor, this is a question I hear all the time. While there are factors that can make any home sell faster or slower than average, the below graph will give you a good idea of how long it takes for the "average" home to sell.
More recently, over the last 6 months the average days on market has been hovering right around 150 days. That sounds like a long time but there are things to can do to get your home sold faster. Pricing your home right, keeping it in "show quality condition" and hiring a Realtor that will aggressively market your home can vastly speed up the process!
